Die säuselnden Versprechung auf endlich angenehme Gesellschaft und ein besseres Leben hatten sich fast in einen Albtraum gewandelt. Beim Eintreten wurde ich verhöhnt und beleidigt und als ich nicht verschwinden wollte, mit Steinen beworfen und abseits ins ärmste Viertel gedrängt, wo ich angeblich hingehörte. Es war eisig kalt.
